I recently stayed in a fantastic hostel in Christchurch called Yha. the atmosphere was great, and it was easy to connect with other travelers. the rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. the hostel had two kitchens and two lounges, which were clean and well-equipped. the location was perfect, with the Botanical Garden just beside it and the Riverside Market and New Regent Street within walking distance. Yha provided the perfect base for exploring Christchurch!
Nothing, it's absolutely perfect! 👌🏼.

The location of this accommodation was excellent, being close to the Botanic Gardens and other popular attractions. It was also conveniently situated near the bus terminal and city shops. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to store our luggage before check-in and assisting us after reception closed.
Although the room was clean and comfortable, it was a bit small. the absence of towels in the room was inconvenient.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Best aspects were the location which was so close to the center and everything to see in this city, including the Botanical Gardens. The hotel facilities were fantastic with a big lounge and kitchen area that were always clean. The staff was helpful and friendly, lending us two really comfy pillows and providing a smooth late check-in. The parking was not an issue as there were shuttle buses available to the airport hourly in front of the nearby museum.
Hard to think of anything negative to say!

We had an amazing stay here! the service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the exclusive amenities, including the leisure room and garden area, added an extra touch of luxury to our experience. Our room was well-appointed and the private facilities were pristine. This hotel's prime location within walking distance to major attractions made it easy to explore the city. Cons: If I were to critique this hotel, it would only be to mention that the BBQ facilities could have been better maintained. this was a minor issue and did not detract from our overall positive experience at this venue.

The hostel lacks a lift, making it difficult to carry heavy luggage to upper floors.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and gave us great recommendations on where to go. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Plus, we loved that there was free wi-fi and a kitchen to cook in.
The noise level was unbearable. It felt like we were sleeping in a construction site.

Had a great time during my Xmas stay! Loved the free Wi-Fi and the complimentary coffee and tea provided by the hotel. the location was amazing, just a short walk to the supermarket and bus station. the beds were really comfortable, making for a good night's sleep.
The bathrooms were a bit cramped and could have been cleaner, but they were manageable. there was a bit of noise coming from outside during the night, which made it difficult to sleep at times.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Christchurch and was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were very reasonable considering the excellent location right next to the botanical gardens. The attention to detail was impressive, with charging stations at each bed and spacious rooms for everyone's bags. I particularly enjoyed having a balcony in my room, and even with the window wide open, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. The basic amenities were well-maintained, and the staff provided exceptional service.
My experience at this hotel was great, and there was nothing that I felt could be improved.
